Go Bears took home Team of the Week honors with outstanding performances by Brian Westbrook, Steve Slaton, and Kurt Warner. Go Bears is 'owned' by a Paul Konerko loving White Sox fan, mom who must have loved beating Open League 33 opponent The Cubs in winning Team of the Week. Nice work Go Bears. Team of the Week honors go to Josam of Dad and Child League 8. They put up 142.94 points with stellar performances by Tono Romo, Randy Moss, Michael Turner, and the Minnesota DST. Josam's owners clearly have a knack for managing their squad and put together the right mix this week. Check out Josam's lineup from week 12 -- if Houshmandzadeh and the Bengals were competitive, Josam might have broken the season's high score.

Da Bomb, whose ownership group includes a cool soccer playing, spaghetti eating mom, scored 121.86 points during week 11 to take home "Team of the Week" honors. Big weeks by Lynch, Gore, Houshmandzadeh, and Rackers turned a strong score into a "Team of the Week" score. Great job by Da Bomb!

We recently learned that the skateboard, the stick, and the babydoll were just inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame. The stick is not the first object that serves other purposes to be inducted. The cardboard box is already a member of the HOF. Did you know that cardboard was invented in China in the 1600s? The National Toy Hall of Fame is part of the Strong Museum of Play in Rochester NY. Sounds like a pretty cool place to visit. |
